When you ask Swift Fix Electronic Repairs for a quote, we use the details you give us to understand the repair and contact you about it.
Repair requests
Our form asks for your name, phone number, email address, preferred contact method, device type, brand, model and the repair you need. Additional notes are optional. Please don’t include passwords, unlock codes, payment details or private files.
Our WordPress site sends your request to MyRepairApp, the service we use to manage repair enquiries. Swift Fix uses that record to assess the request, reply by your chosen method and follow up about your repair. Choosing text or email for a repair reply does not sign you up for marketing.
Visits to our website
Our hosting and website systems may process technical details such as your IP address, browser, referring page and time of visit to serve pages, troubleshoot errors and protect the quote form from repeated submissions. The form uses a temporary identifier derived from your IP address to limit requests.
Cookies may be used for site functions such as WordPress sign-in. You can manage cookies in your browser. If website analytics are enabled, usage information may also be collected to understand which pages people visit.
Payments, deliveries and newsletters
If a purchase requires payment processing or delivery, we share the information needed by the providers handling that transaction. We do not disclose your information to third parties for advertising without your express consent. If you subscribe to a newsletter, you can unsubscribe separately from repair communications.
Keeping and accessing your information
We keep enquiry and service information for as long as needed to respond, handle the repair and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. You may ask what information we hold, how it was used or shared, request a correction or deletion, or withdraw consent, subject to applicable requirements. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
